Archana Educational Trust has further ventured into Vocational Training. The Santosh Mahesh Bagrodia Vocational Training Centre provides courses in Electrician, Fitter, Welding & Fabrication, Mechanical Draftsman, Civil Draftsman, Information Technology, Computer Hardware & Networking, Dressmaking & Fashion Designing among others. The core aim is to give back to society and provide the rural youth an opportunity for a brighter future.
The vision which began in 2006 when the trustees acquired a four acre land in Shahapur is today a successful reality: on March 11, 2012 the Santosh Mahesh Bagrodia Vocational Training Centre was proudly inaugurated. Prior to this venture the Vocational Training Centre functioned out of rented premises.
We are happy to announce that our Training Centre has empowered over 1100 students who are now earning salaries upto `12,000 and are supporting their families and the lives of many people living there.
Agnel Institute of Technical Training plays a key role in the management of our Vocational Training centre. It is responsible for providing the students with new job opportunities through rigourous training in the various subjects.
From being simple housewives to empowering the rural youth with education, the Archana Educational Team embers have achieved much to be proud of.
The Vocational Training Centre is now all geared to introduce new courses such as Nursing, Beautician and many others in the coming year.
